Our Journey
Welcome to Spicy Wok Szechuan Cuisine, where we bring the
authentic flavours of China's Sichuan province to Calgary's northwest community
of Ranchlands. Located at 1829 Ranchlands Blvd NW, our restaurant was established
with a passion for sharing traditional Chinese cooking techniques and regional
specialties with Calgary's diverse food community. Every dish at
Spicy Wok is crafted to stay true to its origins — from the numbing spice
of Szechuan peppercorns to the delicate balance of Cantonese stir-fry techniques.

Our Menu
Our extensive menu spans multiple regional Chinese cuisines — including
Szechuan, Cantonese, and traditional Northeast Chinese dishes. Signature
favourites include Mapo Tofu (麻婆豆腐), Sauerkraut Fish (酸菜鱼),
Mao Xue Wang (毛血旺), and Boiled Meat Slices (水煮肉片). We also
serve Special Cantonese Dishes, Northeast Chinese classics like Cumin Lamb,
alongside appetizers, soups, rice and noodles, and traditional desserts —
offering one of the most diverse authentic Chinese dining experiences in NW Calgary.
